Tickets for trips
Fancy a day out? As a EuroParcs guest, it is possible to order tickets for various museums, amusement parks or zoos at a discount.
Oudheidkamer Texel
Be amazed by the Oudheidkamer in the heart of Den Burg. The small museum is located in one of the oldest houses of Texel, dating from 1599. It is furnished with furniture and things as your grandmother lived.
Museum Kaap Skil
Set sail for Kaap Skil, discover treasures from old shipwrecks and step back in time at the open-air museum. The interactive exhibitions are great fun for children.
Sheep farm Texel
At the Sheep Farm on Texel, lambs can be seen all year round and many are born especially in spring. Children (but also adults) can cuddle lambs here, sheep herding demonstrations are given and there is a fun playground with swings and trampolines. Children can also ride on ''tractors''.
Museum Waelstee
Tucked away in an old farmhouse in the middle of the charming village of De Waal is Wagenmuseum Waelstee. The museum has a collection of farm wagons, carriages and all kinds of objects that were once used on Texel.
Maritiem- en juttersmuseum Flora
Marvel at all the things that wash up on the beach and discover the maritime past. Maritime and Beachcomber's Museum Flora is a real family museum. There is also plenty to do for children!
Lighthouse Texel
The Texel Lighthouse in De Cocksdorp is the only lighthouse in the Netherlands where you can look out over the sea on three sides. Climb the stairs for a breathtaking view.
Ice cream farm Labora
At Labora ice cream farm you can enjoy delicious, traditional ice cream. The 16 different flavors are all made from fresh cow's milk and the tastiest local products. But that's not all, you can also take a look inside the barn, where 120 cows are milked by milking robots!
De Slufter
Texel has about 40 nature reserves. The best known is the Slufter, an area with an open connection to the North Sea. The largest part of this nature reserve is a bird breeding and rest area of which only the southern part is accessible. You can follow the path from the Slufter stairs for a beautiful walk through the salt marshes all the way to the beach. Another bird area is the polder Waalenburg
Round trips Texel
From the harbor of Oudeschild several ships depart for a trip on the Wadden Sea. Sail along to watch the seals, step aboard a shrimp boat or make a trip aboard the Loodsbotter Texelstroom, an authentic sailing ship from 1906.
Walking and cycling Texel
Texel lends itself perfectly to exploring on foot or by bicycle. Cycle or walk from the polder to the dunes, across heathland and through forests. Various walking, cycling and mountain bike routes for young and old have been plotted across the island.
Swimming pools Texel
On hot days you can cool off in the open-air swimming pool Molenkoog. Is it colder than a dip in the water of the subtropical swimming paradise Calluna is highly recommended.
Texel Brewery
Texel has many regional products such as mutton, but also quilts made from real Texel sheep wool. In addition, you can enjoy typical Texel cheese or herbal bitters Juttertje. Taste the island and enjoy one of the 12 Texel special beers of which you will get a taste when you visit the Texel Brewery.

Restaurants Texel
The park itself has no restaurant. If you would like a bite to eat you can choose from various restaurants in the surrounding villages, such as Café Restaurant De Slufter and Regional Restaurant Topido in De Cocksdorp, Freya de Texelse Bodega in Den Burg or Restaurant Passion in De Koog.
Supermarkets Texel
EuroParcs De Koog does not have a park shop. For your daily shopping you can go to the nearest supermarkets Jumbo and Lidl in De Koog. In De Cocksdorp there is a large Plus supermarket.
Market Texel
Every Monday there is a market in Den Burg from 08.00 to 13.00 hours. In the summer months, each village has its own summer market.
Texelhopper
The regular bus lines 28 and 33 run on Texel and connect with the departures of the TESO. In addition, you can also book the small, flexible Texelhopper buses.
